“Every child has a story worth telling, and when we give them the space to tell it, we give them the power to own their voice, shape their future, and shine.”

Meet Justin

I’m Justin Ford—a children’s book author, educator, creative visionary, and founder of Ford Publishing House and the JustinTIME 4 StoryTIME movement. But more than titles, I’m someone who deeply believes in the power of stories to heal, uplift, and transform lives—especially the lives of young people.

Growing up, I didn’t always see myself reflected in the books I read. I didn’t always feel like my voice mattered or that my imagination had a place in the world. That’s why I created the Young Author Build-a-Book Programto give children the opportunity to see themselves not just as readers, but as creators, authors, and storytellers with something important to say.

Through this program, I’ve watched students light up as they bring their stories to life—from the very first brainstorm to the moment they hold their own hardcover book in their hands. It’s more than just a literacy tool. It’s a confidence builder. A safe space for self-expression. A celebration of identity, culture, and imagination.

As the author of I See Me, a book that helps children embrace who they are, and Monster in the Sink, a playful story about facing fear with courage, I’ve seen firsthand how stories can spark important conversations and emotional growth in even the youngest hearts.

In partnership with professional soccer player Channing Chasten, I also co-created the Goal Getters & Story Makers Camp—a dynamic experience that blends athletics, literacy, and leadership. It’s another way we help kids build resilience, set goals, and realize they are capable of greatness—on and off the field.

At the core of everything I do is one simple belief:
Every child has a story worth telling, and when we give them the space to tell it, we give them the power to own their voice, shape their future, and shine.

If you're here, thank you for believing in kids, in creativity, and in the impact a single story can have. I can't wait to partner with you to make storytelling unforgettable—for your students, your school, and your community.

Empower Their Voice Through Books

Through this publishing house, I write and publish children’s books that spark imagination, encourage self-love, and inspire courage—from I See Me, a love letter to identity, to Monster in the Sink, a fun, rhyming adventure about overcoming fear. But Ford Publishing House is about more than just my books—it’s about helping others tell their stories too.

Through our JustinTIME 4 StoryTIME movement and Young Author Build-a-Book Program, we empower young people to become real published authors, giving them the tools, confidence, and encouragement to dream big and write boldly. Every book we publish is a reminder to a child that their voice matters and their imagination can shape the world.

At Ford Publishing House, we believe in turning rejection into redirection, and passion into purpose. We’re not just publishing books—we’re building futures, one story at a time.

about

After being told “no” more than 80 times by traditional publishers, I realized something powerful—sometimes, the door you’re waiting to open isn’t meant for you, because you were born to build your own.

That’s why I created Ford Publishing House—a space where creativity, representation, and purpose come together to change the way stories are shared. What started as a personal dream turned into a platform that celebrates the voices of children, families, and communities who deserve to see themselves on the page.
